Lately, I have been experiencing a lot more lying than I can really bear to listen to. From family, from neighbors, from the mass media, the government, and even my dogs!

ME: .. (to the dog)........Did you just shit on my floor?

DOG: .........uh, nope. It definitely wasn't me, sorry.

ME: ..........well, no one else living here shits on the floor!

DOG:......did you see me shit on your floor? Have you got pictures or DNA results?

ME:......uh, no......... just forget it, I'll clean it up.
DOG:.........(( man, this dude never believes anything I say!))

Seems like some malignant spirit has overpowered our collective consciences and is hell-bent on eliminating truth from even the most trivial conversation. I'm not even sure it can be called lying anymore, because that would imply a conscious effort to cover up the truth. These deceptions I've been hearing lately are so fluent and so smooth, that it seems more pathological than intentional. Most folks view telling the truth to being akin to a major felony or something that will destroy life as they know it.

Over the last 30 years or so, by what I believe to be an intentional reprogramming by the schools and the media, it seems no one is willing to take any responsibility for their errors, be it by word or deed, we have taken "plausible deniability" to a new level.

Remember when a person was "as good as their word", when business could be conducted on the basis of a handshake? In those days, it was the most important thing to our self-esteem to be thought of as an honest person! Liars were found out quickly, and shunned by the majority as a pariah.

Fast forward to 2011. Liars are the new heroes, truthers are the new villains. In government the bigger the liar, the more votes collected! In business the bigger the lie, the more outrageous the bonus or bailout! In organised religion, the more outrageous the lie, the more followers and donations are collected! Society has perverted the reward and punishment paradigm, making evil good and good into evil. No society can survive long when everything and everyone is denying responsibility. Eventually we will run out of scapegoats to blame our mistakes on.

The cosmic powers that ultimately control everything and everyone, are prepping us for the ultimate showdown, the shaking of our world to it's very core is upon us, and the rotted fruit is decaying before us at a supernaturally increased rate.

The wheat will be separated from the chaff. Those who aspire to goodness and truth will continue in their quest, those who aspire to evil and lies will also continue in their quest. The heavenly realms have cast their dice, and everything will increase according to it's desire.

For those of us who aspire to truth and righteousness, hang on because our Higher Power will be giving us gifts beyond our wildest imaginations. For those of you who love lies and cling to violence, you also will be empowered, your Lower Power will strengthen your depravities and bring you to your ultimate destruction.

It's all about what is and what will be. The story is written. All we have to do is is keep our eyes on the book while the hand of God turns the pages.
